	What is Zikpot, how does it work? Zikpot is a game for music fans and musicians. The objective is to promote the artists by making the fans take interest in the success of the artist thanks to a motivational game. The game is a parody of the stock exchange, where you follow the popularity rating of the artist. The purpose of the fans is to detect a promising artist, to join forces with his success by betting on him and to help improve his rating (by buzzing around him) To help improve the rating the music fans can: : Vote : Add artist to your favorites (and appear on the fan list) : Recommend the artist When the artist is “shown on the stock exchange” (once the 100 i$ rating is reached), the fans can “bet” their i$ (idol-art) on the popularity rating of the artist and make a fortune if the rating of the artist takes off. : Bet In order to hit the Jackpot you have to count on your pals. It’s the motto of Zikpot : Muzik+Pals=Jackpot
	What is the significance of the i$ value ? i$ (pronounce « idol-art ») is the virtual currency used on Zikpot to: - Create a “value” index for the popularity rating of an artist. (As if it was a stock exchange value) - Bet on an artist’s rating if you think they will go up, thus multiplying your i$. (500 i$ are offered upon registration) - Measure the fortune of a zikpotter and determine the credibility of his stock recommendations - Transform your fortune into gifts
	What does Zikpot offer to zikpotters ? Zikpot allows the music fans (the zikpotters) to: - Play and bet on the new musical tendencies - Support their idols and make them famous by becoming an opinion leader (influence the market) - Discover existing stars as well as new talents by listening to their pieces - Express their tastes and communicate with the new talents - Make new friends and communicate with the community of audiophiles - Win a lot of gifts by spending their i$ - Participate in the “musical experience” of an artist by becoming his support during the different stages of his success
	What does Zikpot offer to the artists ? Zikpot allows the musicians and the music groups to: - Obtain the public support to pass all the stages successfully (intro on the stock exchange, promotion, broadcast, compilation) thanks to the fans’ support - Boost their popularity rating (in i$) - Expose their latest compositions, display their photos and soon their videos - Promote and announce their future concerts - Communicate with their fans and their potential public - Establish collaborations with the Artist community of Zikpot which functions on a mutual aid principle
	What are the rules of the game ? - You can vote to boost the popularity rating of an artist. It’s a good sign to add a recommendation comment to your vote (buy, listen or sell) The votes (1 per day per artist) will make the rating of an artist vary in a very substantial way, in order to count on a regular support of the fans. Once introduced on the stock exchange the bets are a stronger mean to boost an artist’s popularity rating. The elements which allow the popularity rating of an artist to vary are : : - The increase in the number of fans: adding an artist to favorites matches 20 votes. - The SMS vote (that proves you support the artist) boosts the rating by 20 votes - The bet of i$ on the artist (Like on the stock exchange, if we buy, the rating goes up , if we sell it goes down ) The global variation of the artist (shown by the percentage or the arrow: or ) matches the summary of: All positive variations (caused by the votes and the bets) – the negative variations (caused by sales) If in the end the variation is negative it’s because there are a lot of sales. Please note that you can add maximum 100 artists and 200 new talents to favorites. Every addition to favorites means that you are a fan of the artist (you appear in his fan list). This helps you find your favorite artists more easily and vote faster for them. Your Zikpot Radio also fits your artist choices so that you can only listen to those you like… It is forbidden to create several profiles in order to vote or bet several times a day for you or for an artist. Only one account per PC will be validated. The creation of several accounts is controlled and is punished by setting the artist rating at 0 or by deleting the accounts. The Zikpot Sheriff (a robot that controls all that) is able to delete every account that appears illicit (accounts created on the same PC, with the same password, and which seem to be controlled by the same person) The artists with the best progress will be displayed with a strong promotional visibility. The fans that win the most i$ will be displayed and will be able to win a lot of gifts.
	SMS, how does that work? The SMS allows boosting the rating of an artist by 20 votes. It is important to understand the structure of the codes used for the SMS. Send : zikpot xxxxx yyyy At 91010 (for USA) ($0.5 + price of an sms) zikpot : allows our operator to send the SMS directly to the voting service for artists xxxxxx = identifies the artist that you are voting for yyyy = identifies the member who votes. This number is optional and allows the member to show (on his record) that he supports the artist through SMS. If you don’t wish to sign your vote via SMS you don’t have to enter that code. Separate the 3 elements through space so that our operator can identify them and send us those codes. Otherwise we cannot credit the votes corresponding to the artist that you support. It is forbidden to communicate those information via SMS without specifying the amount and the logo SMS+ : It is possible to achieve a MEGABOOST of 60 votes by dialing the Audiotel number indicated on the artist record, no matter what country you are in.
	The stakes and the portfolio, how does that work ? With my 500i$ I can choose to bet on several artist (on the stock exchange) or on my favorite artist. If I don’t know on who to bet, I can find artists that have strong variations or that were recently introduced on the stock exchange on the Zik’Exchange page. I can see all the tendencies and the recommendations made by other zikpotters (there are often good tips) If I know on what artist I want to bet my i$ I will just search his record with the help of the search engine on the right corner of the page: ATTENTION : If the artist does not have the 100 i$ rating necessary for him to be on the stock exchange you cannot bet on him. To bet on an artist you have to go to his record and press the button: Bet: Once you pushed the button BET and placed your bet, you see this line appear on your portfolio: How is my win calculated? It’s easy. My win = my bet x the progress (of the artist’s rating since he was bought) 500 x 2,93 % = 14 i$ Here the artist went from 101,93 i$ to 104,91 i$ … therefore he had 2.93% progress Please note that the numbers are rounded. In order to get my 14 i$ win, I would have to resell my bet. Afterwards I could bet my i$ again or exchange them for gifts. The maximum bet is limited to your liquid assets or 10 times the value of the rating if you are very rich… This limit has the purpose to favor the increase of the rating from several “investors” rather than from one big investor who could make the rating explode by himself (which wouldn’t represent a real popularity) We speak here about “a popularity rating” and the philosophy is based on “unity is strength”… It is well and truly the number of fans and the number of Zik’Shareholders who will allow the rating to climb. We are sometimes under the impression that it is worth reselling fast, but it is not true!!! We took here a commission of 20 i$, while my earnings are only 14 i$. This is the purpose of the commission: avoid reselling fast and thus limit the useless speculation. The best way to win i$ is to wait that other people bet like you, on the same artist. You are interested in spreading the rumor and incite your friends and other zikpotters to bet like you. It’s their successive bets on the same artist that will make his rating vary and will allow you to make real earnings. The regular votes help improve his rating and to make earnings … more modest… unless you are many. Here, unity is strength!
	The Bonuses-dividends, another way to win i$ ! (Coming soon !!!) Every week, we pay “fidelity bonuses” equivalents to dividends in stock exchange. The players that remain truthful to an artist by keeping their bets on him, win extra i$ every week, available and directly reusable. This bonus is calculated depending on the performance of the artist you voted. Therefore: Every week, the listening time statistics of New Talents will generate bonuses to their Zik’Shareholders The more you listen to them, the more the paid bonuses will be important. Your turn to play, by betting on the promising artists. In order to help you, here is the Classification of the most listened to Artists. In order to establish a Classification of the most listened to New Talents we count the listening time statistics of (one listening time per member, per Ip per day) The New Talents can generate bonuses up to 3000 i$. This bonus is then spread between the different Zik’Shareholders. Every week, the best sales of Albums and Singles generate bonuses-dividends for their Zik’Shareholders. The more Albums + Singles they sell, the more the bonuses are important. Your turn to play by betting on the Stars of the Moment. In order to help you here is the Classification of the most listened to Artists. Every week we establish the Classification of the best Albums and Singles Sales using different platforms such as Itunes… The Stars can generate bonuses up to 100 i$ This bonus is then spread between the different Zik’Shareholders. These bonuses go directly to your Zikpot portfolio. You only have to bet on a promising artist.
